In order to mitigate the Poodlebleed (Padding Oracle On Downgraded Legacy Encryption) vulnerability our operations team has proactively disabled all SSL3 protocols in all environments. The patching processes started at 5:00 PM PST October 16 and was completed at 6:08 PM PST. Although the patching process was nonintrusive Internet Explorer 6 or older versions of the IE browser will no longer be supported. Users of IE 6 or older versions will be required to upgrade their browser in order to access the dashboard.

Poodlebleed is a vulnerability in the design of SSL version 3.0. Poodle is actually an acronym for Padding Oracle On Downgraded Legacy Encryption. The vulnerability allows the decryption to plaintext of secure connections. Please visit http://www.poodlebleed.com for more information.
